Halloween iPod Shuffle Party

05/11/2022 @ 7:00 pm 10:00 pm AEDT

We’re excited to invite you to our first social event for the season!

Join us at the EBC Clubrooms on Saturday 5 November from 7 pm (after the Division 1 Women’s game) for our Halloween iPod Shuffle Party!

To participate in the iPod Shuffle competition, you can purchase a song of your choice for $10. Throughout the night, we’ll be randomly shuffling through the songs and the last song played will win a prize of $150.

It’s first in best dressed, and we have a limit of 50 songs in our competition playlist.

This event is scheduled very close to Halloween, so we thought it would be a great opportunity to get dressed up. There is a prize for best dressed (which we’ll confirm soon), so put your spookiest foot forward.

A BBQ or pizza dinner will be available for $10, and drinks will be available over the bar.

Everyone from across the club is welcome, from juniors to seniors, so we’re looking forward to seeing you soon!

$10 Drinks will be available over the bar

The Little Long Walk

07/07/2022 @ 11:00 am 12:30 pm AEST

THIS NAIDOC WEEK, JOIN US FOR THE LITTLE LONG WALK AT EF

About this event

Long before the arrival of settlers, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people relied on areas surrounding Essendon Fields for fishing, housing, transport and food.

Essendon Fields respectfully acknowledges the traditional custodians of its land: the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, their spirits, ancestors, elders and community members past and present.

In 2004, former AFL legend Michael Long decided that something needed to be done about the plight of the Indigenous community, so he walked from his home in Melbourne all the way to Parliament House in Canberra. The Long Walk was born, with money raised to support Indigenous education programs across the country.

Eighteen years on, and in celebration of NAIDOC Week, Essendon Fields invites you to participate in a Little Long Walk on Thursday 7 July.

Grab your family, friends or team together and join us for a walk around the precinct, followed by cultural presentations and a Charity BBQ hosted by LaManna Melbourne.

All ticket proceeds to be donated to The Long Walk Foundation. Included in your ticket price will be a piece of exclusive event merchandise, one sausage in bread and one drink from LaManna’s Charity BBQ and a small donation to The Long Walk.
