About

When a group of gentlemen gathered together for a meeting at the Essendon Cricket, Bowls and Tennis Club on the 24th April 1893 for the purpose of forming a baseball club, you can be pretty confident that the last thing on their minds at the time, was the possibility of that very same club, being in existence 128 years later. Well, thanks, to the efforts of a large number of people over the ensuing years, that club is still in existence, and prospers today under the name of “The Essendon Baseball Club” – our Club!

Our Facilities

The club has state of the art clubrooms, with a canteen, change rooms, and showers, batting cages and gymnasium. There are 2 main baseball fields with the Chris Lane Memorial Field on the way. There is plenty of parking for members. As well as a BBQ area and playground for the greater community.

The club currently has 8 senior Men’s teams, 3 senior Women’s teams, 2 Masters, and Junior teams spanning from T-ball to U18.
