EBC Club BV Award Winners

Congratulations are in order for 2 of our esteemed Members who were presented with prestigious awards at the 2018/19 Baseball Victoria Awards Night.

Our President, Tony Cornish was presented with the BV Volunteer of the Year Award. (Presented by Baseball Victoria Life Member, our very own superstar Julie Jones)

Our Div 1 Women’s Premiership winning coach, Duane Davenport was presented with the BV Coach of the Year Award.

Also 2 members of our Div 1 Women’s Premiership winning team made the nominations list for some of the main Women’s awards.

Prader-Willi Syndrome Awareness Day Sun 10th Feb

EBC are pleased to advise that we will be holding a Prader-Willi Syndrome Awareness Day.

The day is in support of Zachary McIntyre. Zachary is the young son of Dean & Jody McIntyre and the little brother of sister Addison.

Date is Sunday the 10th of February.

On that day the 1sts & Reserves will be playing Fitzroy and the Div 4 (Baby) Bombers will be playing Mitchell Majors

It will be a day for everyone of any age. We hope to see as many people as possible.

RSA Course Feb 6th at EBC

Hi all,

There will be an RSA Course at the Essendon Baseball Club (located at Boeing Reserve, Strathmore Heights) on Wednesday 6th February 2019.

This session is open to all clubs throughout the municipality and surrounding areas. This course is a great training opportunity for volunteers at a highly subsidised rate. (TAFE fee up to $150) 

  • $40 Good Sports club members (EBC is)
  • $80 non-Good Sports club members

EBC New Clubrooms Opening Night

We are happy to inform all Members that the official opening of our new clubrooms will be Friday night the 8th of Feb.

In conjunction with the Moonee Ponds Council there will be a Strathmore Movie Night to celebrate the event.

There will be an outdoor cinema set up on the ground. Being shown is a kids’ favourite “The Sandlot”.

This is a free event for all the surrounding communities and especially all EBC Members and Family and Friends.

Grab a rug or a Beanbag and set yourself up for a goodnight.

6.30pm till late .

Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the 1988/89 Premiership

Sunday 27th of January at approx 7pm following the conclusion of the Div 1 1sts game

$10 per head, finger food provided.
