Essendon Baseball Club is excited to announce that as of last night’s proposed budget, the City of Moonee Valley has pledged funding for the Chris Lane Field Scoreboard, similar to the one on our main diamond.
John Sipek, a long time supporter of EBC, was instrumental in making this happen.
The scoreboard was the final piece of the puzzle we needed to complete the Chris Lane Memorial Field project, and I couldn’t be happier.
We thank John and the council for their ongoing support of our magnificent club.
Tony Cornish, Club President
EBC love to you all

13/11/2022 @ 12:00 pm – 6:30 pm AEDT

We invite all the ladies in our lives (including our players, mums, partners, grandparents, siblings, and other supporters) to join us on Sunday 13 November for EBC Ladies’ Day!
All 4 Div 1 Men’s teams will be playing at home. From 12pm, we’re putting on a complimentary lunch, including wine, and we invite our biggest supporters to join us for a pregame celebration.
On the day, we’ll also be selling some special edition ladies’ hats and running a raffle with proceeds going to charity (to be announced with our sneak peek of the hat design!)
This event is sponsored by Ascot Vale Hotel, who have generously donated wine for the occasion.
We’re looking forward to celebrating the women around our club and all that they do for us as players and for our community
